Stargazing @ the Science Centre

Free stargazing sessions from one of the few observatories in the world located next to the Equator.

 

Specifically, at the geographical coordinates: 1.3342 deg N latitude, 103.7357 deg E longtitude, 15.27 m Height (m.s.l).

 

At the Science Centre, Singapore.

 

Discover constellations, identify planets, revisit the moon, be enthralled by stars and star clusters.

 

The main activity is to take turns looking through the telescopes at various objects visible in the sky. There are basic astronomy talks every 2nd Friday of the month and talks by other invited guests on special nights.
