Any time of year is good.

Be prepared for sunshine and rain. As this is the     tropics, it is hot and wet with bright sun, rain and     high humidity all the year round.

 Temperatures range between 27° C and 31° C

 The wetter North-Eastern monsoons

 The drier South-Western monsoons

Make sure you have sun glasses, a drink (preferably water), a cap and suntan lotion.
Wear comfortable cotton clothes.
Put on a good pair of walking shoes.
'Indoors' in Singapore means serious air-conditioning, so have a light pullover on hand if changes in temperature affect you.
Keep a tube of insect repellent handy for the 'non-city' outdoors like Sentosa island, hikes, treks, the zoo, the bird park etc.

Avoid the midday sun.
