Tours of Singapore’s Nooks & Crannies
November 29, 2020 - August 31, 2021
10 tours, each about three and a half hours long, offering 80 spots for groups of 8 to 10 explorers, kick-off end November.
A collaborative effort to help boost the businesses of neighbourhood enterprises and hawkers, to rediscover Singapore and to fight back against the restrictions enforced by Covid-19, these tours benefit all – residents, expatriates and tourists – with new, fresh perspectives of the familiar.
The first of these tours explore the areas of Kebun Baru and Ang Mo Kio – the wall murals, decades old shops and stores, bird cage street (where bird singing competitions used to be held), the Mayflower Market & Food Centre, the Ang Mo Kio Central Market & Food Centre, and they include a ride on a FunVee open-top double-decker bus.
Expect culture, history and good food. And hidden gems.
Each participant will be given at least $20.00 worth of vouchers, valid for a week, for use at designated locations and merchants within the neighbourhoods.
Departure : 8.15 a.m.

While there is no current indication when these tours will end, SingaporeforKids guesses that it will probably one tour per month, and therefore, will likely go on till August 2021. Updates will be posted, when available.
